Key identifiers that you’re getting gaslighted by a theological liberal

Christian Theology

It’s hard to identify the contemporary theological liberal movements because they are shrouded in traditionally conservative language and hidden in ostensibly conservative institutions.

Here are a few key identifiers:

1. Talk big ”gospel” but small Bible.

2. Imply that Jesus wanted everyone to be nice and get along rather than fight for what is good and true.

3. Prefer to use power and administrative coercion rather that biblical argument and persuasive preaching.

4. Like secret meetings and strategic cabals; lead mainly through gossip and innuendo.

5. Hate the Ten Commandments. Or really any laws of God. Or any restriction upon their authority.

6. Sexuality is very conservative but don’t want the church or God to take anyone else’s sexuality very seriously. Usually presented as being gospel centered or grace centered or Christ centered but a cover for licentiousness and the compromise of historic church standards of righteousness.

7. Will tend…

THE EMERGING FACE OF THE MODERN ANTICHRISTS [1966]

Truth on steroids…

CROSSROMAN

The modern rebellion inside the church to comply with social media demands of equality in all areas of the church, together with the denial of the authority of scripture, Paul, and even Jesus; means that the church in its changing modernity, has sold out to the Beast.

Only those traditional elements that hang on to the teachings of their forefathers will survive this onslaught until Jesus returns, and the rest may very well be decimated and see declining, falling numbers very rapidly as truth is turned to lie.

This may be exacerbated by the legalisation of these anti-biblical concepts and ideas, so that, to teach the truth may very well be a jailable offence. We should not be surprised at that because in some countries the death penalty already applies for those who are seekers of the righteousness of Christ.

[When the church becomes as corrupt as the world around…

July 4 – Liberty and Freedom

“In taking away their liberty, God had set them free…”

As God takes away the Liberty the Saints in America have so long enjoyed, will He set us free in the process?

THE RIVER WALK

Then he supervised the entire Babylonian army as they tore down the walls of Jerusalem on every side. Then Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, took as exiles the rest of the people who remained in the city, the defectors who had declared their allegiance to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the population. (2 Kings 25:10-11)

Read: 2 Kings 23:31 – 25:30, Acts 22:17 – 23:10, Psalm 2:1-12, Proverbs 18:13

Relate: When I realized what I would be reading in the through the Bible plan today, of all days, I just had to laugh. For those of you reading this who are living somewhere besides the USA, July 4th is Independence Day in the States. It was two hundred some odd years ago today that a document was signed which begins:

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve…

JESUS DID NOT UNDERSTAND [198]

CROSSROMAN

When we see Jesus in the garden sweating great drops of sweat as he contemplates  the coming cross, we hear his words “Father, if it be possible, take this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will but yours be done”.

There has been some postulation that he was speaking about the possibility of him dying in the garden, as he began to enter into the process of what the cross meant. This was said on the basis of him “not being a coward”, meaning that he was not seeking to avoid the cross, but that he was concerned about himself entering into death at that time, in the garden, perhaps dying there instead of in public view.

The truth would appear to be that the great stress he was under, was the result of him knowing that once he entered into the inner conflict of flesh and spirit, that he…

There’s a Huge Catch in the ‘Imams Refuse Funeral Prayers for London Jihadis’ Story

Aussie Nationalist Blog

When news broke that Imams were refusing funeral prayers for the London jihadis, it appeared positive that elements of the Islamic community were taking a stand against political Islam.  And although these reactions did not compensate for the horrendous terror attacks, they remained somewhat pleasing.

However, my prior diagnosis was mistaken along with much of the mainstream media, as the true reasons behind Imams refusing funeral prayers for the slain terrorists, delve far deeper.

rexPJ Media, by Robert Spencer, June 12, 2017:

The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) gained worldwide headlines — and praise — for its announcement last week that 130 imams in the United Kingdom were refusing to perform funeral prayers for the London jihad mass murderers.

But as is so often the case, there was less to this much-heralded display of Islamic moderation than met the eye.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said the following last…

Could It Be Time To Deny White Men The Franchise?

Reblogging this… Thought you might want to see where the world is going (or where the Left wants to take it…)

Aussie Nationalist Blog

A mainstream, respected media organisation has openly called to deny white men voting and property rights, in order to redistribute power towards coloured people.

Not surprisingly this sentiment is coming from South Africa, where the people who first brought democratic institutions, modern technology, health, medicine and education are being treated in a genocidal- like manner.

Now, of course South Africa developed imperfectly and apartheid was viciously cruel, but how much of the modern world would exist today if not for European, Western civilization?

Moreover, if white males are next in the process of being denied democratic rights, who next? White women? Considering rising Islamic influence in modern societies, what about Jews? Or further discrimination on the basis of sexuality?

This deluded ideology is extremist identity politics at its worst. I would note that it remains a rational desire for individuals to seek solidarity with culturally similar groups.

But it’s another thing to continue with…

Over Man: The Temptation of Donald Trump

Thorncrown Studios

Trump Photo

I missed it.  Over all the months, as I have been trying to argue people away from voting for Mr. Trump, I failed to understand what was really going on.  But since his speech at the convention, everything has become very, very clear.  I now believe that his election is inevitable.  Both as a candidate and a man, he is a force that we have never encountered in American Presidential politics.  He calls his following a “movement” and he is correct.  Progressives desperately struggle to place him into a category that they can understand and which will allow them to diminish his impact.     In their blind idealism, they cannot imagine that such a man could be elected.  Over and over they mumble that “America is better than that.”  No, America is not better than that and there are reasons why.

But conservatives make their own terrible mistake from the other…

SPECULATION

Bible Believer's Church

A Missionary friend of mine once said, “There are four or five doctrines I would die for; we can talk about everything else.” He was right, and I agree. There are a few things that are set out so clearly in Scripture that they allow no room for speculation; any deviation from those truths moves us into heresy. Salvation by Grace, through faith in the Son of God, would be one of those doctrines, the Blood of Jesus as the only acceptable sacrifice for sin, would be another.

There are others, which leave a little room for interpretation; tongues, prophecy and the gifts of the Spirit would be one, free will versus predestination would be another.  People are strongly opinionated on these issues but 2,000 years of heated discussion have provided no definitive answers, accepted universally by everyone. You and I may be on different sides of the fence on…
